This week saw our U16s travel to Miltown for Round 3 of the league. Conor Boyd opened the scoring for the MacUilin men with two points in the first 5 minutes. a further 3 points from Conor Boyd, 2 from Oran Kearney and 1 each for Conaire Butler, Ciaran McKeague and a goal from Eamonn Elliot gave the town a lead 1-9 to 1-3 at halftime.
The second half started as the first with Conor Boyd opening the scoring. Noamh Gall fought back but a goal by Gary Maybin in the 10th minute gave Ballycastle the drive to start to open a gap. With a further 2-4 for Conor Boyd and a second goal for Gary Maybin and point for Eamonn Elliot the North Antrim men came out the better wining 5-15 to 2-8.
Unfortunately with 5 minutes to go Conor Boyd was injured and will be out of action for a while, we would like to wish Conor a speedy recovery.
