The second home match in a row saw MacUilin host Ruairi Og and it only took three minutes for Ballycastle to open the scoring in this match with a Conor Boyd point which was followed up by a goal by Oran Kearney and another point by Boyd. Cushendall then registered a point but points by Conor Boyd, Conaire Butler and Ben McQuillan started to open up a gap. A further two points each for both teams left the score at halftime Ballycastle leading 1-7 to 0-3.
The second half started as the first with two points from Conor Boyd point within the first three minutes however Cushendall responded with a goal. As the second half progressed a second goal for Oran Kearney and a further 2-4 for Conor Boyd opened up to big a gap for Cushendall to make a come back.
