Antrim began 2017 with a 1-18 to 0-12 win over Westmeath in the Walsh Cup opener at Kinnegad on Sunday.
McQuillan players Neal McAuley (centre half back) and Ciaran Clarke (corner forward) contributed to the saffrons’ victory. Ciaran netted Antrim’s only goal in the 66th minute along with three points to seal the win.
