Club Rooms Bookings

Find Attached the proposal adopted by the Executive Com July 10th 2018

For a period until the AGM any further functions that involve the sale or purchase of alcohol by the club be discontinued.

For a Members Private Function

If a bar is to be provided the booking party must meet all costs and expenses association with the hire.

Including but not limited to the following

– Hall Hire

– the provision of an alcohol license

– the name of the licensee who will be running the bar facility for them

– the staffing of the event (to include appropriately trained door staff to meet any legal requirements)

– provision of an entertainment license if required

– the insurance costing of hosting a licensed event. (if applicable)

– hire of cleaner to ensure that club is left to agreed standard (if required)

– any other cost that the Club may incurred because of the function.

– the setting up and removal of any equipment used within a set time frame.

 

If alcohol is not being sold but is being consumed the following to be considered.

-corkage charge per bottle as per rule.

– – the staffing of the event (to include appropriately trained door staff to meet any legal requirements)

– provision of an entertainment license if required

– the insurance costing of hosting a licensed event. (if applicable)

– hire if cleaner to ensure that club is left to agreed standard (if required)

– any other cost that the Club may incurred as a result of the function.

– the setting up and removal of any equipment used within a set time frame.

 

 

Any Club function in involving alcohol booked by a fundraising body or squad to include advanced details to meet the following.

– the name of the licensee who will be running the bar facility for them

– the staffing of the event (to include appropriately trained door staff to meet any legal requirements)

– provision of an entertainment license if required & the person who will apply for it

– the insurance costing of hosting a licensed event. (if applicable)

– hire of cleaner to ensure that club is left to agreed standard if required

– any other cost that the Club may incurred as a result of the function.

-the setting up and removal of any equipment used within a set time frame.

– a third party to bring in and run the bar and the agreed profit split.

 

This motion excludes any scor function that the club is carrying out and the Executive can set aside for any club-based activities if deemed necessary on full approval e.g. away team entertainment or Sponsors Lunch.
